It's Official, We Have the Smartest Puppy!

It's Official, We Have the Smartest Puppy! Eden Scarlet is possibly the fastest learning puppy I have ever met. Every day we work on a new trick and she masters the trick in 3 tries. I couldn't be prouder of her. She learned to sit, then lay down, and today paw. I love working with her and watching her focus so hard on gaining the treat in my hand. And when she does the trick correctly, she immediately rolls over for a belly rub. But despite her brilliant mastering of tricks, she does have one habit that I am not sure will ever break. Every night when Itay and I put her to bed, she is quiet for about 4 minutes. Then, the minute she realizes nobody is around her she barks, whimpers, cries and howls. The noises are awful, and it sounds like she is getting beaten. Not only do I fear her health, but I also feel bad for my roommate and the neighbors in our building. You can hear her cries all the way down to the first floor and out on Ben Yehuda Street. I am terrified that our neighbors are going to knock on the door and yell at us about the dog. Besides her howling and occasional miss on the newspapers, she still is the smartest dog I know! A few days ago Itay and I gave rinsed her off in the bathtub. I couldn't stop laughing at the face she was making when we put her in a towel to dry her off. She is such a character and I love how each day her personality is coming out more and more...
